Whether you like the classic board game turned 3d on on your tv or the new fast paced 'Clash at Sea' mode which i personally enjoy, Battleship on Xbox One delivers with a barrage of entertainment for a fun single or multiplayer gaming experience.

Aside from classic mode, it has been given a 30 mission campaign with different twists each mission. The twists revolve around the new abilities the ships have. Such as shooting torpedos from the sub until they hit a ship or reveal the entire line on the grid or the aircraft carrier with a squadron of planes attacking multiple coordinates of your choice. There's also different factions you'll play as and go up against. Each with the same ship abilities but different requirements to use them with slight tweaks to how the abilities perform.

Don't bother with online, no one hardly plays. Not to worry, the A.I. Can offer quite the challenge. Achievements are easy but will require a second controller to unlock all of them. I like the new modes and content that is put into these Hasbro games.

Keeping the originals intact while adding creative new ways to enjoy them. The game Battleship is known by Hasbro for being a boardgame, having a movie and now returns with an epic game here on Xbox, even though it deserves to be on ALL systems other than just home consoles.

A game like this could make it to handhelds as well. Battleship's epic gameplay gets awesome from the new Clash at Sea mode; all ships have their own unique abilities besides the fact that each type of fleet has their own unique play style.

You can now scan the battlefield for ships without having to directly attack and waste a turn. But still, turn times should be at least 3 minutes long instead. It's also best to note that online is not very active and not much players join.

If you not confortable with the hyped-up Clash at Sea mode, you can always settle for the classic mode of Battleship.

Position your battleship pieces as strategically as you can, so that the computer will have trouble guessing where they are. Guess where your opponent’s ships are positioned on the board and sink them with the least possible moves. Good luck sinking those battleships!

How to Play: Choose where to position your ships on the game screen. Use your computer mouse to deploy your battleships by left clicking on them and pointing at the board. Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to turn / rotate a ship before you place it on the board. After you have selected the right position for the battleship, left click to set it in place. The second board is your opponent’s (computer) board. Select the position on that board and left click with your mouse to shoot. If you have hit the computer’s ship, you can try to hit it once more until you miss or sink it’s ship. Sometimes, the ships can be positioned adjacent to each other on the playing board.
